The individual will be responsible for all IFSCA and SEZ compliance reporting, regulatory engagement, and policy implementation while supporting group-wide compliance initiatives. This is a mid-senior level individual contributor role that will evolve into a leadership position as the entity scales. The role combines regulatory interface, policy design, reporting accountability, and remote operational oversight for group-wide compliance functions.

- Ensure timely submission of all regulatory filings, returns, and audit reports in compliance with IFSCA directives.
- Maintain a comprehensive Compliance Calendar to track reporting obligations and ensure timely compliance.
- Monitor regulatory developments, interpret new circulars, and communicate relevant updates internally.
- Design and maintain AML/CFT, KYC, and Compliance Policies and Standard Operating Procedures for the IFSCA entity.
- Conduct periodic reviews of compliance frameworks to ensure effectiveness.
- Support the development of Risk Assessments, Board Reports, and periodic compliance attestations.
- Provide second-line oversight over KYC, KYB, and Transaction Monitoring activities.
- L2/L3 cases for completeness, escalation accuracy, and adherence to Skydo's policies.
- Lead Thematic QA Reviews to identify gaps, process inefficiencies, or emerging typologies.
- Recommend and implement improvements to strengthen AML/CFT controls and reduce false positives.
- Develop and conduct compliance training and awareness sessions across teams to strengthen the culture of compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Payment Ops, Banking Partnerships, Product, and Engineering) to ensure smooth compliance integration across workflows.
- Contribute to internal audit preparedness, compliance dashboards, and leadership reporting.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of AML/CFT, KYC, and Sanctions frameworks under RBI, FATF, FinCEN, MAS, and IFSCA.
- Experience with Fintech, PSP, or other regulated financial institutions, ideally in a leadership or oversight role.
- Proven expertise in policy drafting, regulatory reporting, and audit management.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and review Analyst-level work.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder management.
- Experience within RBI-regulated entities (PA/PG, NBFC, Bank, or PPI).
- Exposure to international compliance frameworks (MAS, FinCEN, FATF).
- Certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent are advantageous.
Persona:
- Experience: 4+ years in Compliance, AML/CFT, or Regulatory Affairs.
- Education: CA, CS, MBA (Finance), or Law Graduate.
- Work Style: Independent, structured, and confident, leading remotely.
- Mindset: Ownership-driven, pragmatic, and committed to regulatory excellence.
