About the role
Requirements:
- Mandatory - RDBMS - MySQL; NoSQL (either MongoDB or Cassandra ).
- Proficiency in any one programming language.
- Proven experience with InnoDB engine internals.
- Proven experience with the MySQL query optimiser.
- Automation mindset. This is not a typical manual admin profile.
- Proven database migration experience.
- If you focus on details, it will be good for us to understand you.
- Proven experience with database upgrades.
- Proven troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working with data sizes in the TB range and large clusters (e. g., 20-50 nodes per cluster) is beneficial.
- Good if you are able to convert business use cases to technical requirements.
- Proven experience with the WiredTiger engine.
- Good understanding of sharding, partitioning, sharded clusters, replication, HA, and DR. We will evaluate based on these.
- Preferred but not mandatory: Good understanding of OLAP databases. Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and containers. Cloud SQL and RDS.
