About the role
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end delivery ownership: sprint discipline, release criteria, and deployment checklists.
- Run cadence: standups, reviews, and retros that drive honest output and behavioral change.
- Blocker triage: resolve technical, dependency, or people blockers fast; escalate only with solutions.
- Remote coordination: align in-country implementation teams with engineering deliverables.
- Reporting: concise, client-safe weekly updates with no spin.
- Mentorship: continuous coaching via reviews, pairing, and estimation feedback.
- Hiring input: assess delivery instincts and code quality alongside the solution architect.
Requirements:
- 8-12 years of engineering experience with clear release ownership.
- Fluency in NestJS/TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and Docker (or close).
- Proven delivery leadership across multi-engineer teams.
- Fast, structured communicator.
- Comfortable with remote/cross-region collaboration.
- Mature judgement on quality vs. speed tradeoffs.
- Influence through competence, not hierarchy.
