About the role
- Supervise erection and installation of transformers, electrical panels, and associated equipment at site.
- Carry out pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical systems and equipment.
- Verify field inputs, interlocks, and signal wiring in coordination with PLC control systems.
- Conduct no-load and load trials to ensure proper functioning of electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with project, mechanical, and automation teams during commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures during installation and testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults during erection and commissioning stages.
- Prepare commissioning reports, checklists, and documentation.
- Support handover of commissioned systems to operations team.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in Mining and Material Handling Equipment such as:
- Stacker
- Reclaimer
- Bucket Wheel Excavator (BWE)
- Conveyor systems
- Experience working on large industrial or plant projects is an advantage.
