About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and own core systems end-to-end from architecture and implementation to deployment and scaling of high-performance, concurrent, and fault-tolerant microservices.
- Work across the full technology stack, including backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), with complete DevOps ownership.
- Translate product requirements and risk-modeling needs into robust, scalable, and production-ready software systems.
- Ensure high standards of performance, reliability, and observability through strong engineering practices and tooling.
- Contribute to and establish engineering best practices while mentoring and guiding future team members as the organization grows.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience building high-scale, low-latency distributed systems.
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
- Hands-on experience with Java or Golang.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, messaging systems, and asynchronous design patterns.
- Experience deploying and maintaining applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Prior exposure to B2B technology or high-growth startup environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines and agentic systems is a plus.
- Strong interest in financial markets is required; prior experience is a plus.
- High ownership mindset: proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Ambition to evolve from an individual contributor to a technical leader over time.
