Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire Developer to join our technology team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), proficiency in Gosu programming, and a deep understanding of P&C insurance systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and implementing solutions using the Guidewire platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter)
- Customize and configure Guidewire applications using Gosu scripting language
- Develop integrations with external systems using SOAP/REST APIs, JMS, and web services
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure best practices in coding and architecture
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance of Guidewire applications
- Contribute to Guidewire upgrade/migration projects
- Document technical specifications and support deployment activities
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter)
- Strong proficiency in Gosu programming and Guidewire Configuration & Integration
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP) or On-Prem deployments
- Knowledge of Java, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and integration patterns
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Guidewire certifications (e.g., PolicyCenter Developer, ClaimCenter Integration Specialist)
- Exposure to DevOps, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments
- Experience in Guidewire upgrades or cloud transitions
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
