About the role
We are seeking a skilled Hyperion Developer to design, develop, and maintain Oracle Hyperion applications including Planning, Essbase, HFM, and FDMEE. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in financial planning and analysis systems and be comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and support Oracle Hyperion Planning applications (PBCS/EPBCS).
- Develop Essbase cubes and scripting (Calc scripts, MaxL, MDX).
- Customize and maintain Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Financial Data Quality Management (FDM/FDMEE).
- Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop automation solutions for data integration between source systems and Hyperion.
- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Create documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Provide Hyperion application support, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion tools (Essbase, Planning, HFM, FDMEE).
- Proficiency in Calc Manager, Business Rules, Smart View, and MaxL scripting.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and data modeling.
- Experience with data integration tools (ODI, Informatica, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud EPM is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS) experience.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum project environments.
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, Oracle DB).
- Prior experience working in finance or accounting environments.
