About the role

About the Opportunity

At EazyGrad, we’re building one of India’s most trusted education brands — and we know that great growth starts with great sales. As Inside Sales Manager, you’ll lead a dynamic team that connects students with life-changing opportunities. You’ll drive conversions, refine sales strategies, and ensure every interaction reflects our mission: making global education accessible, personal, and inspiring.

Role & Responsibilities

As Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage, lead, train, and mentor a team of in-house student counselors focused on online degree programs; foster a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and career development.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Own and streamline the end-to-end sales cycle—from lead handoff to conversion and retention—ensuring adherence to internal SLAs, quality benchmarks, and compliance standards.
  • CRM & Data-Driven Strategy: Leverage CRM tools (e.g., Zoho) to track, analyze, and improve lead acquisition, conversion, and retention metrics; use insights to refine forecasting and team KPIs.
  • Market & Product Intelligence: Conduct market research to forecast demand for course offerings; collaborate with curriculum and academic teams to design compelling, data-informed learner journeys.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing to evaluate lead quality, optimize campaigns, and align messaging with customer insights; serve as the primary SME for all online degree programs, including university partnerships, regulatory compliance, and learner demographics.
  • Performance Reporting & Strategy: Prepare weekly/monthly performance dashboards for leadership; recommend data-backed adjustments to sales strategy, pricing, or outreach tactics based on funnel analytics.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 6–8 years of experience in inside sales, with a proven track record in a leadership or team-lead capacity (minimum 2 years).
  • Hands-on experience in the EdTech, higher education, or online degree counseling space—familiarity with Indian and international university partnerships is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools; comfort with data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills—able to influence without authority across functions.
  • Strong understanding of learner acquisition funnels, conversion optimization, and customer retention strategies in digital education.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience scaling sales operations in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Exposure to B2C and B2B2C sales models in education.
  • Basic familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) or student information systems (SIS).

Benefits & Culture Highlights

We believe in investing in our people as much as they invest in our mission. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Impact at Scale: Play a strategic, high-visibility role in shaping the future of accessible education in India.
  • Growth & Learning: Access to leadership, and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Compensation & Recognition: Competitive fixed pay + uncapped performance bonuses tied to individual and team goals.
  • Work Environment: A collaborative, inclusive, and psychologically safe culture where your voice is valued and innovation is encouraged.
