Roles and Responsibility
We are looking for a skilled iOS Developer with expertise in Objective-C and Swift to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience working with legacy iOS applications and be capable of modernizing them by migrating to the latest technologies and best practices. You will play a key role in refactoring, optimizing, and developing high-performance, scalable iOS applications while ensuring a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance existing iOS applications built using Objective-C and Swift.
• Modernize legacy codebases by refactoring and migrating to Swift and the latest iOS frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality applications.
• Optimize application performance and resolve technical debt while ensuring backward compatibility.
• Implement new features and enhancements following Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and best practices.
• Work with CoreData, CoreAnimation, CoreGraphics, AVFoundation, and other native iOS frameworks.
• Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and improve overall code quality.
• Stay updated with the latest iOS technologies, Swift advancements, and best development practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure App Store compliance for all releases and updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in iOS development with expertise in Objective-C and Swift.
• Strong knowledge of UIKit, Foundation, and iOS SDKs.
• Experience working with legacy codebases and migrating them to newer technologies.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and third-party libraries/frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Xcode, Interface Builder, and Auto Layout.
• Strong understanding of memory management, multi-threading (GCD, NSOperation), and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with SwiftUI and Combine (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with modern architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture).
• Previous experience migrating apps from Objective-C to Swift.
• Understanding of dependency management tools like CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager.
