About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Batch.
- Develop and optimize batch jobs for large-scale data processing.
- Build and consume REST APIs and integrate with enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Optimize application performance and ensure code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
- Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong experience with Spring Batch (Mandatory).
- Good knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Maven/Gradle and Git.
- Good understanding of batch processing, scheduling, and job orchestration.
- Knowledge of multithreading and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes is an added advantage.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
