About the role
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and guide junior SDETs / QA engineers.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and engineering leaders.
- Provide automation estimates, sprint planning inputs, and risk assessments.
- Track quality metrics, test coverage, and release readiness.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on programming expertise in Java / Python / JavaScript.
- Extensive experience in Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Appium.
- Strong experience in API automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of OOPs, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with TestNG / JUnit / PyTest / Robot Framework.
- Strong CI/CD knowledge with Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI.
- Expertise in Git and version control practices.
- Strong database testing experience (SQL / MongoDB).
- Experience in Agile / Scrum product environments.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
