Manager - Refrigeration(Plant Operation & Maintenance)
Operation & Maintenance Management
üResponsible for the optimum utilization of all refrigeration equipment as per the designed parameters.
üPrevention of major breakdown of equipment where there is no standby facility.
üEnsure availability checks and minimum inventory of the critical long lead spare parts and consumables.
üSatisfying the requirements of different utility users without any production loss.
üActivities completion in stipulated time as per the audit report.
üEnsure preventive maintenance of the refrigeration plant/Equipment, alignment, vibration test.
üAll sensing device/tools calibration (Pr & Temp sensors/Gauges and other measuring instruments).
üPeriodic testing of Refrigerant and lubrication media, UT/MT test, etc.
Project Managements
üUpkeep of project-related drawings and documents.
üEnsure the implementation of the project schedule as planned by the HO or FMs.
üResolve issues and disputes where other parties impact project execution (if any).
üWeekly communication of project progress status with a report to HO, Head of Projects & Corporate.
Health & Safety Management
üEnsure the availability of personal protective equipment and safety systems.
üProper display of safety labels at the work area.
üAdherence to safety parameters prior to any maintenance work.
üMake certain that the Ultrasonic testing of high-pressure vessels is carried out as per the safety norms.
üEnsure awareness of Ammonia accidents in the plant.
Quality Management
üEnsure no leakage and no sweating on insulated pipes.
üControl & initiate changes in the relevant documents like ISO / HACCP / Product specifications.
üProactive efforts on closure of NCs, if any.
Documentation/MIS Reporting Management
üüMaintenance of ISO / HACCP related documents.
üüEnsure all the SOPs are followed.
üüISO report filing and daily reports.
üüEnsure timely and Error Free reporting.
üüDocumentation of critical incidents, important happening, decisions, activities, reports etc. thereby ensuring proper record keeping and maintaining daily log sheet.
üüMaintenance and timely submission of cost analysis reports.
üüInventory check, PR preparation, Item code verification and Co-ordination with purchase for procurement.
Manpower Management
üüEnsure along with the Unit HR, that the Right Manpower is hired & trained as per the business needs.
üüEnsure subordinate development through Behavioral and Technical Trainings at regular intervals in conjunction with the Corporate HR and Unit HR ( as per the business needs).
üüPrepare and document clear performance expectations, performance reviews, Training and Development plans based on Gap Analysis for direct reports.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
·The ideal candidate would be an Engineering Graduate with at least 8-15 years of experience, out of which the last 2-4 years must be in leading Refrigeration & Air Conditioning function at the Corporate Level to support multi-Units.
·BE / B. Tech from a reputed institution in one of the following streams - Mechanical.
·Prior experience in food processing / Process Industries with cold chain / allied industries will be preferred
