About the role
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end mechanical design and development of compact wearable hardware.
- Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
- Work with injection moulding, CNC, sheet metal, die casting, elastomers, adhesives and overmolding.
- Drive GD& T, tolerance stack-up, DFM/DFA/DFC and design validation.
- Develop and test rapid prototypes using 3D printing, CNC and other methods.
- Support EVT, DVT, PVT and production builds.
- Work closely with CMs, ODMs, tooling vendors and suppliers.
- Drive tooling development, mould reviews, reliability testing and failure analysis.
- Collaborate with Electrical, Firmware, Industrial Design, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams.
