Node.js Developer

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join our backend engineering team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, high-performance backend systems using Node.js and associated frameworks, with hands-on experience in RESTful API design, microservices, and cloud deployment.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js / Nest.js.
• Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for web and mobile applications.
• Implement microservices architecture and integrate with internal and third-party APIs.
• Optimize application performance, ensuring high scalability and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Expertise in backend frameworks such as Express.js, Nest.js, or Koa.js.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and Promises.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of API security, authentication (JWT, OAuth2), and authorization mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing (Jest, Mocha, Chai).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with GraphQL or Serverless architectures.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of frontend integration (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
