Node.js Backend Developer Summary: We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js, Express.js, Hasura GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and API Gateway technologies. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications, integrating front-end elements, and ensuring high performance and security. Key Responsibilities: Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code to build and manage server-side applications. · Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. · Optimizing the performance of the main database and ensuring responsiveness to front-end requests. · Incorporating effective security protocols and data protection measures. · Designing and implementing data storage solutions, including databases and key-value stores. · Identifying and resolving bugs and performance issues in the application. · Staying updated with the latest industry trends and continuously improving their skills. · Require knowledge of RBAC implementations. · Design, implement, and manage cloud-native APIs using Hasura over PostgreSQL or other relational databases. · Develop and maintain serverless microservices and backend systems using AWS PaaS tools (Lambda with NodeJs, API Gateway, PostreSQL, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, etc.). · Optimize Hasura GraphQL queries, permissions, remote schemas, and event triggers. · Integrate multiple data sources and third-party APIs via Hasura Actions or custom resolvers. · Secure and monitor APIs using AWS IAM, Cognito, JWT, and Hasura role-based access control. · Support developers and product teams by exposing scalable GraphQL endpoints for internal/external consumption. · Should be self-managing with minimal/no monitoring. Tech Skills · 8+ years of development experience, with at least 4+ years on AWS. · Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features and asynchronous programming. · Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption, RBAC and compliance standards. · In-depth knowledge of Node.js and its core modules, experience with NPM. · Proficiency in Express.js framework for building web applications and APIs, middleware configuration, and routing. · Solid experience working with Hasura (GraphQL Engine). · Strong understanding of GraphQL fundamentals, performance optimization, and schem
