About the role
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the founders and engineering team to shape product experiences.
- Lead various design initiatives from ideation to execution.
- Create prototypes using Figma or develop AI-powered prototypes.
- Enhance user interfaces with engaging visual elements, illustrations, and animations using tools such as Jitter.
- Follow a structured approach to design, starting with user insights, research, and competitive analysis.
- Identify product challenges across different platforms and recommend effective solutions.
- Make data-driven design decisions wherever applicable.
- Collect and analyse user feedback through surveys, user interviews, and other feedback mechanisms.
Requirements:
- Ideally, 2-4 years of experience creating designs that are both functional and visually appealing.
- Strong product thinking and prior experience working in a product-based organisation.
- A strong design portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
- Ability to ask the right questions, understand user data, and consider the needs of different user segments.
- Experience working with design systems, including dark and light themes.
- Ability to integrate AI into design processes and product thinking.
- Multidisciplinary thinking, including motion design and interactive experiences using tools such as Jitter, Rive, and Lottie.
- Bonus: Experience designing gamification and personalisation flows.
