About the role
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 14+ years of relevant MRO / aviation work experience.
- Experience leading aviation technology projects with an MRO focus.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Process improvement experience with a solid track record of achieving positive results.
- Strong business acumen possessing strong operational, technical, and analytical skills including structured problem-solving and quantitative analysis
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills. Exceptional analytical skills.
- Strong customer focus (internal and external).
- Advanced skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Access.
- Software experience with Python, SAP, Hyperion, SAS, Tableau, SQL, and databases such as Teradata and SQL Server.
- Ability to solve problems at both conceptual and practical levels. Must be a self-starter able to work in a team environment as well as on individual efforts.
- Highly proficient in written and oral communications and able to produce concise, relevant presentations for senior leaders.
- Experience in Team Leadership: Managed, mentored, coached and developed teams, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Experience in resource allocation, capacity planning and resource utilisation.
- Experience in performance management by providing regular performance feedback, recognising achievements and addressing areas for improvement.
