Job Responsibilities:
- Developtest plans.Design and implement detailedtest plansthat evaluate thefunctionality, performance, and usability of software.
- Createtest cases.Build comprehensivetest casesto cover various scenarios and ensure products meetuser expectations.
- Execute manual and automated testing.Perform both manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software operates as expected.
- Conductauditsandquality control.Regularly review andauditquality standardsto maintainhigh-qualitysoftware and identify anyproduct issues.
- Collaborate with thedevelopment team.Work closely with developers andtestersto identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during thesoftware developmentprocess.
- Documenttest results.Record and analyzetest resultsto provide insights into software performance and reliability.
- Conductregression testing.Performregression testingto ensure that software updates do not impact existingfunctionality.
- Utilizetesting tools.Usetesting toolsandquality managementsoftware to streamline thetesting processand trackmetrics.
- Improveuser experience.Ensure that software is user-friendly and meets allcustomer satisfactiongoals throughquality assuranceefforts.
Requirements
- Education.Abachelor’s degreeincomputer science,information technology, or arelated field. Amaster’s degreeis an advantage.
- Experience.Previous experience insoftware testing,quality assurance, or aQA rolein thetech industry.
- Analytical skills.Stronganalytical skillsto assess complex data,test results, and product performance.
- Problem-solving skills.Excellentproblem-solving skillsto identify and troubleshoot software issues.
- Communication skills.Effectivecommunication skillsto collaborate withdevelopment teamsand relaytest results.
- Technical knowledge.Familiarity withtesting toolsand knowledge ofautomation,SQL, andMicrosoftproducts.
- Certifications.Relevantcertificationssuch asCSQA(Certified Software Quality Analyst) are beneficial.
- Attention to detail.Strong attention to detail to ensure all aspects ofproduct qualityare thoroughly checked.
- Knowledge of the softwarelife cycle.Understanding of thesoftware developmentlife cycleand the role ofquality assurancewithin it.
