About the role
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the team to plan and strategize the testing process and deliver a high-quality product.
- Engage with seniors/customer/product managers to understand the requirements from a business/end-user perspective and test the product accordingly, ensuring all the acceptance criteria are met.
- Provide good visibility into product quality along with Risks and Mitigation plan to stakeholders.
- Thoroughly validate the product functionality through manual testing and Automation testing add tests to the regression bucket as the application scales.
- Explore new testing tools and frameworks to recommend the right solution to solve business problems.
Requirements:
- BE/B. Tech with 4 to 6 years of experience from IIT, NIT, BITS, VJTI, any government college of India, or the top 50 premium colleges of India.
- 4-6 years of experience in ETL Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python automation (PyTest frameworks).
- Excellent knowledge of SQL (complex joins, subqueries, aggregations).
- Experience testing data pipelines and batch jobs.
- Understanding of ETL tools (Informatica / Talend / SSIS / Airflow or similar).
- Experience with RDBMS (Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server).
- Knowledge of data validation techniques: Source to Target (S2T) validation, Data reconciliation, and Data completeness and accuracy checks.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc. ).
