About the role

We are looking for an experienced QA / Functional Tester with strong expertise in functional testing, end-to-end application validation, and web application testing across multiple workflows and user journeys. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API testing, particularly REST APIs, including request/response validation using tools such as Postman, along with strong SQL skills for backend and data validation using joins and complex queries. The candidate should have a good understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed service testing and be comfortable working in complex, fast-paced environments involving multiple integrations and dependencies. The role requires experience with test case design, test execution, defect lifecycle management, SDLC/STLC processes, and test management/defect tracking tools such as Jira, qTest, or similar platforms. Experience in Mortgage and/or Finance applications is preferred, along with the ability to understand business requirements and ensure high-quality delivery. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Good-to-have skills include an understanding of AI/Generative AI concepts, working experience with Claude or AI-assisted testing/workflows, and exposure to test automation.
