About the role
We are looking for a skilled and passionate React Native Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. You will be responsible for developing scalable mobile applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering seamless user experiences. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, an ownership mindset, and the capability to work in a fast-paced product environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
- Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance mobile components.
- Ensure pixel-perfect UI implementation and smooth application performance across Android and iOS platforms.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- 4-8 years of experience in mobile application development.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in React Native development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, and TypeScript concepts.
- Good understanding of React Native architecture and lifecycle.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux/Redux Saga.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Strong understanding of functional and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with Git and source code management tools.
- Familiarity with native build tools like Xcode and Android Studio.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Good debugging and performance optimisation skills.
- Experience working in product-based or fintech organisations.
- Understanding of mobile app deployment processes on the App Store and Play Store.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
