About the role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with a deep understanding of the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform, including its architecture, standard/custom objects, data model, and automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions that support business requirements and improve the effectiveness of the Sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and other Salesforce tools.
- Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support business requirements related to Sales Cloud.
- Deeply understand and optimize the Sales Cloud data model, including Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Products, Price Books, Quotes, and related relationships.
- Design and implement automation using Process Builder, Flows, and Apex Triggers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze gaps, and recommend best practices.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware.
- Participate in data migration, cleansing, and transformation efforts.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and best practices in configuration and development.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers or admins as needed.
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Deep expertise in Sales Cloud architecture and data model.
- Strong understanding of standard Sales Cloud objects and their relationships (Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Campaigns, etc.).
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Components (Aura & LWC), Visualforce, Salesforce Flows, and Validation Rules.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Salesforce deployment tools (Change Sets, SFDX, ANT, etc.).
- Experience with Salesforce DX and version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Salesforce security model (Profiles, Roles, Sharing Rules, Permission Sets).
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II and Sales Cloud Consultant are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Workbench, Postman.
- Knowledge of AppExchange apps like CPQ, DocuSign, etc., is a plus.
