About the role
Responsibilities:
- Automate and manage scalable, reliable infrastructure using AWS, GCP, Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Kong), Ansible, Bash, Python, and Linux.
- Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams to enhance infrastructure utilization, reduce costs, and ensure system reliability.
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to enable efficient and reliable deployments.
- Lead incident management efforts, develop response plans, and continuously improve operational processes to support Pluang's growth.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices with Terraform for efficient cloud resource provisioning and management.
Requirements:
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), service mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Kong), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
- Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools like ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana for end-to-end observability of critical APIs and workloads.
- Solid experience with Terraform (IaC), Python for automation, and troubleshooting to optimize infrastructure and applications.
- Knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases for performance and reliability.
- Experience in designing scalable and cost-optimized systems with secure, seamless service integrations.
- Familiar with microservices architecture and API management concepts.
- Fintech experience is a plus.
