About the role
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring 99.9% uptime for Yellow. AI infrastructure and APIs.
- Troubleshooting and resolving production issues, working with the Platform Engineering team on the same.
- Development of internal tools/scripts for automation of various tasks.
- Responsible for the build and deployment of packages into various environments, including production.
- Fixing issues related to Infra and highlighting long-term issues to the product team and getting them prioritised.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working on large-scale systems.
- Good experience with Linux.
- Hands-on experience with scripting using python/bash or any other scripting language.
- Good experience using monitoring tools like Prometheus/Newrelic/Jaegaer/Sentry etc.
- Experience working with databases like MongoDB/PostGREsql/MySQL.
- Experience working with Elasticsearch and Kafka.
- Experience of working with Kubernetes.
- Experience with any of the major public clouds, i. e. AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform is a plus.
- Knowledge of Nodejs is a big plus.
- Deeply passionate about technology and keeping the systems and your knowledge updated.
- Eager to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment for a quickly growing company.
- Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Flexible to work in shifts and take on on-call.
