About the role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer I to join our Cloud Platform team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud operations. The role involves supporting and improving cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, platform reliability, and automation initiatives. The candidate should be comfortable working in regulated or closed-network environments and supporting modern data platform services running on GCP.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support GCP infrastructure and platform services.
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation(Gitlab and ArgoCD).
- Monitor platform health, performance, and availability.
- Implement cloud security and operational best practices.
