Key Responsibilities
Monitor mainframe applications batch jobs transactions interfaces logs and application health proactively identify production issues
Investigate incidents abends transaction and batch failures using application code JCL DB2CICS diagnostics and system logs
Manage incidents changes deployments job restarts and recovery activities through established ITSM processes
Automate repetitive support activities maintain operational documentation and communicate impact and resolution to stakeholders
Candidate Profile
Production support experience in IBM Mainframe zOS environments
Strong handson knowledge of COBOL JCL DB2 CICS VSAM and TSOISPF
Experience with batch processing schedulers abend analysis job recovery file handling and production deployments
Strong troubleshooting automation ITSM and stakeholder communication skills willing to support oncallshift requirements
