About the role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and API development. The ideal candidate will have experience building secure, scalable microservices and cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate secure REST APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Design APIs and integrate with API Gateway solutions.
- Implement authentication and authorisation using OAuth2/OIDC and JWT.
- Develop cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of backend development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, API Design, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Hands-on experience with API Gateway Integration.
- Good understanding of OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and API Security.
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
