About the role
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript technologies.
- Build responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using frameworks like React.js, Next.js, or similar.
- Design and develop backend APIs and services using Node.js and Express.js or related frameworks.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
- Write reusable, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack development with JavaScript.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and a good understanding of TypeScript are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as React.js or Next.js .
- Strong backend development experience using Node.js and Express.js .
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Good knowledge of databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of HTML5 CSS3 responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes is a plus.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TypeScript, Docker, AWS, or Azure.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
- Understanding of microservices architecture is an advantage.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology.
