Senior Test Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Test Lead to join our dynamic software testing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, particularly using Java with Selenium, and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies. This role requires expertise in both API and UI testing, as well as experience with Playwright for modern web application testing.

• Lead the test automation efforts using Java and Selenium, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both API and UI testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies.
• Implement best practices in test automation and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Mentor and guide junior testers in automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test automation code.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation.

• Proficient in Selenium with Java for test automation.
• Strong experience in API testing and UI testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web application testing.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of version control systems, such as Git.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in software testing or automation are a plus.
