Who are we looking for?

We're seeking an AI-Powered Automation Engineer who can drive next-generation automation capabilities using modern test automation frameworks, AI-assisted development tools, and in-sprint automation practices. This role is pivotal in accelerating delivery, enhancing quality, and modernizing our automation strategy for cloud-native, API-driven, and microservices-based applications

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in framework design, API automation, AI-enabled productivity tooling, and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, regardless of the specific automation toolset (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO).
  • Leverage AI and MCP-based tools (Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI assistants) to speed up automation development, debugging, and test optimization.
  • Implement and maintain in-sprint automation, collaborating directly with developers and product teams to automate test cases within the same sprint.
  • Develop API automation for microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS).
  • Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions; implement quality gates and automated smoke/regression tests.
  • Test the full end-to-end behavior of AWS components to ensure all events, triggers, data flows, and integrations function as expected.
  • Apply modern automation practices such as contract testing, component testing, visual diff testing, and accessibility scans.
  • Participate in story grooming and design reviews to ensure testability and shift-left quality.
  • Produce clear test documentation, automation architecture diagrams, dashboards, and reports.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript preferred).
  • Demonstrated expertise using AI-powered development tools, MCP-based integrations, and intelligent test assistance platforms.
  • Deep understanding of in-sprint automation and Agile delivery practices.
  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or Java.
  • Experience automating microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
  • CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience testing distributed systems, queues, events, and serverless functions.

Education Qualification and Experience:

  • - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • - 5+ years of experience in automation engineering.

Behavior skills:

  • We need people with a positive attitude who are ready to take on new technologies, learn quickly, and deliver quality results
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, back-end developers, and product managers.
  • Flexibility in learning and adopting new technologies, methodologies, and tools to stay at the forefront
  • Experience with performance and load testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skill
