About the role
We are looking for a Service Engineer with 1+ years of experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of equipment/machinery. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, maintain, and service equipment at customer locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical and mechanical/electrical issues.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Attend customer service calls and resolve technical issues within the required timeline.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential faults.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and other technical documentation.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams for service-related activities.
- Provide basic technical guidance and training to customers/operators.
- Follow safety procedures and company service standards.
- Travel to customer sites as required.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a service engineer/field service engineer/maintenance engineer.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals/drawings.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations.
- Diploma/B. E. /B. Tech. in mechanical, electrical, electronics, or a related engineering discipline preferred.
