About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Golang.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices to support platform functionality.
- Develop and optimise PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Frontend Developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Implement secure, reliable, and scalable backend services following best practices.
- Optimise application performance, database efficiency, and API response times.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
