About the role
Responsibilities:
- Development and testing of key platform features for a startup focusing on the marketing technology space.
- Work with a team of engineers and deliver features and functions as outlined by your engineering manager.
- Develop using test-driven development for all your work.
- Focus on good design and justify your designs.
- Be a steward for security and privacy.
- Improve engineering processes and standards within the team.
Requirements:
- You have 3+ years of work experience as part of a core engineering team at a product company.
- Experience with processing, storing, and analyzing very large amounts of data.
- Deep understanding and experience working with Java (8 or above) or C#.
- Good problem-solving skills and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Supporting Skills:
- Container-based development with tools such as Docker.
- Experience working with data streaming applications built with Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink, etc.
- Experience working with Kubernetes.
