About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and the BFSI/payments domain. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in developing scalable backend applications, designing REST APIs, building microservices, and implementing secure payment processing solutions. Candidates with experience in banking, financial services, payment gateways, or transaction processing systems will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java 8 and Spring Boot.
- Develop scalable and high-performance microservices-based applications.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs for payment processing and financial transactions.
- Work on payment systems, transaction processing, and banking-related applications.
- Implement secure and reliable backend services following BFSI standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA, and business teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and application design.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience in microservices architecture.
- Experience in REST API development and integration.
- Strong understanding of OOP, collections, multithreading, and exception handling.
- Good understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Experience in the Payments Domain.
- Prior experience in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) is mandatory/preferred.
