About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in building scalable microservices and managing production-grade backend applications.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of 2-3 PTCS microservices.
- Design and develop scalable REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement Kafka producers and consumers for push notifications and email pipelines.
- Integrate with external systems such as BSS, ASM, ATG, FCM/Firebase, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Optimize MySQL queries and application performance.
- Manage Docker, Kubernetes deployments, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Support production incidents and mentor junior developers.
Requirements:
- Required Skillset: Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes.
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, and MySQL.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of JWT, OAuth2, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
- Telecom domain experience with BSS/OSS integrations is an advantage.
