About the role
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with a track record of building scalable and distributed systems.
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing/mentoring a team.
- Should have worked on consumer-facing systems in a B2C environment.
- Expertise in high-level system design and low-level implementation design, with experience handling high-scale, low-latency applications.
- Strong coding skills in languages like Java, Go, Python, or Kotlin.
- Experience with databases and query optimisations, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL (DynamoDB, Cassandra, etc. ).
- Deep understanding of data pipelines, event-driven systems, and distributed messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a passion for performance optimisation.
