About the role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects across cross-functional teams. You will work closely with software developers, QA engineers, architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure project goals are met on time and within scope.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in a technical PM role.
- Strong understanding of software development, architecture, APIs, and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
- Manage end-to-end software development lifecycle for projects using Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical tasks and coordinate with engineering teams.
- Conduct regular sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks; propose and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Track and report project metrics including velocity, burn-down, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Coach and mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
