Qualification :- Engineering degree in Mechanical / Electrical engineering

Job Responsibilities:

Aftermarket Technical Writers should have:

Ability to translate complex content of procedure/documents to a level and language most appropriate to the target audience. Apply other writing best practices to produce high quality, easy to understand documents/procedures.
Ability to interpret Engineering drawings and analyze assembly/disassembly procedure.
Ability to work with Product Groups, Project Leaders, Product Design Support Engineers and understand their requirements.
Ability to understand service technician and field requirements.
Knowledge of Service Information Development process and tools.
Complete understanding of NPI/CPI/PDT/Revision process.
Excellent written and oral language skills in English who can collaborate globally.
Experience in development of technical documents Service manual / Operation and Maintenance Manual, Rebuild manual, etc.
Knowledge in earth moving equipment, different technologies used in earth moving, construction and mining machines.
Good knowledge and understanding of tools that are required to check / adjust / rebuild earth moving equipment / automobiles.
Good to have knowledge in creating wiring harness routing and designing sheet metal brackets in Creo.
Self-driven, able to complete the task given with less supervision.
