Job Description
Job Title: UiPath Architect ? API Test Automation Experience: 10+ years (with 4+ years in UiPath and automation architecture) ______________ Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced UiPath Architect to design and lead automation testing initiatives for MuleSoft API services. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in UiPath automation, API testing, test frameworks, and CI/CD integration, and will work closely with QA, DevOps, and API development teams. ______________ Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement robust, scalable, and reusable UiPath automation frameworks for API testing. 2. Develop custom components and libraries for API request/response handling, schema validation, and result logging. 3. Integrate UiPath with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) to enable continuous testing. 4. Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand business workflows and translate them into test automation scenarios. 5. Ensure secure handling of authentication mechanisms like OAuth2, tokens, and credentials. 6. Build and maintain data-driven testing approaches using Excel, JSON, or config files. 7. Optimize workflows for maintainability and performance. 8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during execution or deployment phases. 9. Mentor junior automation engineers and establish best practices across the test automation team. 10. Document framework architecture, test cases, execution logs, and troubleshooting guides. ______________ Must-Have Skills: 1. Proven experience in UiPath Studio and Orchestrator, with strong hands-on skills. 2. Expertise in automating API testing using UiPath HTTP Request activities. 3. Experience working with Postman, Swagger, or OpenAPI for API understanding. 4. Good knowledge of JSON/XML parsing, schema validation, and handling API authentication (OAuth2, Bearer tokens). 5. Understanding of BDD or data-driven testing approaches. 6. Familiarity with MuleSoft APIs and middleware integration is a big plus. 7. Hands-on with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools. 8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good-to-Have: 1. Knowledge of performance testing concepts and ability to support JMeter scripts if needed. 2. Familiarity with test strategy, test planning, and test reporting tools. 3. Understanding of secure coding and test automation practices. 4. UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
