About the role
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Test Automation / QA contractor to support our AEM team. The primary focus of this role will be developing and implementing automated front-end test scripts, with occasional responsibilities for writing test cases and performing manual QA validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for front-end applications.
- Integrate automated tests with BrowserStack (or comparable platforms like Sauce Labs) to validate across multiple browsers and devices, including iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with the QA and development teams to write test cases and perform manual validation as needed.
- Report and track defects, issues, and test results using standard QA tools and processes.
- Contribute to improving QA automation frameworks and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Selenium-based test automation.
- Familiarity with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar cross-browser/device testing tools.
- Experience with front-end testing (web applications) is required.
- Exposure to manual QA and writing test cases is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work remotely with some overlap with U.S.-based team members.
- Preferred:
- Prior experience testing AEM front-end applications.
- AEM Cloud Service
- Knowledge of agile development and Jira for tracking issues and test cases.
