Test Automation
Task / Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test automation tools and libraries for validating embedded software and mobile-app-connected devices
- Work on automating product validation via Robot Framework and Python-based simulation tools
- Collaborate with test teams to validate real-time features (e.g., Measuring Tool, BLE communication)
- Implement communication and control tests over protocols like Bluetooth, UART, and other serial interfaces
- Lead small test automation teams and work independently in an Agile environment
Core Skills
- Design and automate mobile app test cases using Appium and Selenium
- Strong proficiency in Python (standard libraries, multithreading, file I/O, OS interaction)
- Expertise in Robot Framework and Pytest for test automation
- Hands-on experience with Appium and Selenium for mobile app automation
- Strong domain knowledge in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), UART, and serial communication
- Object-oriented design principles and modular framework architecture
- Version control: Git / Bitbucket
Tools & Environment:
- Issue tracking: Jira, Confluence
- CI/CD: Jenkins pipelines
- REST API testing experience is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to drive tasks independently
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Experience mentoring or managing test teams
Good to Have
- Experience with embedded product testing or power tool validation
- Experience in Continuous integration using Jenkins , AzureDevops
- Work experience with Jira
