- Oversee end-to-end engineering and design activities for all projects.
- Ensure accuracy, optimization, and standardization of designs across projects.
- Drive adoption of best practices, codes, and industry standards.
- Implement value engineering and design optimization techniques.
- Establish and lead R&D initiatives in renewable energy/solar, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities for product development, efficiency improvement, and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with external agencies, technology partners, and research institutions.
- Provide technical leadership and support to project execution teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs aligned with project timelines.
- Resolve complex technical challenges during project life cycles.
- Drive digital transformation (BIM, AI-based design tools, automation, etc.).
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve productivity and quality.
- Promote a culture of innovation within engineering teams.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Develop technical expertise and leadership pipeline within the department.
- Ensure continuous learning and skill enhancement.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish robust review and audit mechanisms for engineering deliverables.
- Maintain documentation, processes, and design control systems.
- Collaborate with business heads, project teams, and leadership.
- Engage with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on technical matters.
- Represent the company in technical discussions and forums.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil or relevant discipline).
- Advanced qualifications (M.Tech / MBA) preferred.
- 25+ years of experience in engineering, design, and R&D roles.
- Significant experience in EPC, renewable energy (solar/wind), infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
- Proven leadership experience in handling large engineering teams and multi-project environments.
