About the role
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of payment support schedules and NHPL and subsidiary payment proposals.
- Prepare first drafts of FD interest, consultant, and provision workings.
- Own vendor bill accounting and routine accounting entries end-to-end.
- Be the go-to person for vendor onboarding, documentation, and approvals.
- Keep vendor advances on track and drive timely settlements.
- Review books diligently and champion the payment process protocol.
- Put your knowledge of TDS deduction and statutory payments (TDS, GST, and other compliance payments) to work.
- Cross-check GL balances like a pro before payment schedules go out.
- Play a key role in month-end closing, reconciliations, and everyday finance operations.
- Bring fresh ideas to the table and spot opportunities to automate finance processes using AI and digital tools.
Requirements:
- B. Com or equivalent, or any specialisation in finance.
- 1-2 years of experience, and yes, freshers with the right spark are welcome too.
- A solid grip on accounting principles.
- Excel skills that go beyond the basics; bonus points if you're curious about AI tools and finance automation.
- An eye for detail that catches what others miss.
- Great communication skills and a natural ability to coordinate across teams.
