Role Overview
We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Selenium or Playwright to ensure high-quality, scalable web applications through robust test automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright

• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing for web applications

• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements

• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA

• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines

• Improve test coverage, reusability, and automation efficiency

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in automation testing

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium (Java/Python) or Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)

• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies

• Experience in API testing (Postman/REST APIs) is a plus

• Basic knowledge of Git and build tools (Maven/npm)

Nice to Have

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)

• Exposure to Docker / CI tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
