About the role
Requirements:
- 6+ years in backend software engineering roles, with demonstrated ability to navigate technical trade-offs and ambiguity effectively.
- Proficiency in C#, Java, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server.
- Experience with message queues or streaming platforms (e. g., RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka).
- Exposure to legacy system modernization or platform migration projects is highly valued.
- Strong experience writing unit tests and ensuring high test coverage.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience in designing new functionality for existing complex components while maintaining scalability and performance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- BA/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, especially in migration or modernization contexts.
- Practical experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with non-relational databases such as MongoDB.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, AI-enabled APIs, or building backend services that support intelligent features.
- Experience mentoring engineers and supporting technical growth within the team.
