About the role
We're looking for a Backend Developer (Node.js ) to build scalable, high-performance microservices. You'll work closely with front-end teams, product managers, and DevOps engineers to create robust APIs and backend systems that power our fashion-tech platform.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js .
- Work with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Implement security and data protection.
- Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, and releases.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade backend systems.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Optimise performance for speed and scalability.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js or any backend tech stack (Should be open to working on Node.js ).
- Strong in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous patterns.
- Hands-on with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and service-based architectures.
- Bonus: Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
