About the role
System Administrator
Certification of any one of the operating system is Mandatory
Handling of multivendor coordination for servers switches routers and any HW Devices
Backup management in the environment
Troubleshooting Knowledge on 2 flavor of Operating systems in UNIX Ex Linux Solaris AIX Ubuntu and Windows knowledge is mandatory
Monitoring Hardware failures in the system and action them accordingly by help of vendor coordination as required
Follow the regulations of ITIL standards and depth knowledge of process service level Knowledge problem management
Responsible to create and maintain technical documentation Knowledge Articles and Vendor related documents
Certification on any one of the storage system is Mandatory
Knowledge of Multiple storages platforms like EMC NetApp Hitachi HP and platform hands on experience is mandatory
Experience in creating RAID groups and configuration of storage pools etc
Depth knowledge in RAID Parity Groups LUN Provisioning and collection of storage logs
Experience in working on SAN switches and zoning as required
Coordinating with vendor for any HW failure and work closely to resolve the issues
Follow the regulations of ITIL standard and depth knowledge of process service level Knowledge problem management
Responsible to create and maintain technical documentation Knowledge Articles and Vendor related documents
