About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Core trading screens: Watchlists, stock pages, option chain, order entry, positions, holdings, and P& L, built for speed and one-handed use.
  • Real-time data layer: WebSocket streams for live prices, order updates, and alerts, with reconnection logic, subscription management, and smooth handling of patchy mobile networks.
  • AI on mobile: The chat interface where traders ask questions and get answers as live cards, charts, and widgets.
  • Charts and visualization: Fast, readable charts and payoff diagrams that hold up on smaller screens.
  • App performance: Smooth scrolling on long lists, low startup time, sensible memory and battery use, and no dropped frames during market hours.
  • Release and quality: Clean builds and releases on the Play Store and App Store, crash monitoring, and working closely with QA on every release.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years building mobile apps, with at least 2 years of production with Flutter and Dart. Apps you've shipped that are live on both stores.
  • Solid state management at scale with Riverpod or Bloc. You know why you picked one over the other.
  • Real-time experience: WebSockets, streams, and keeping the UI responsive while data updates every second.
  • A clear understanding of how Flutter renders and the habit of profiling before guessing at a slowdown.
  • Comfort with platform channels when you need native Android or iOS features.
  • Design sense. You can take a Figma file and make it feel better on an actual device.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience building a trading, broking, or fintech app.
  • You trade yourself.
