Job Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our engineering team. You willwork on building and maintaining our edtech platform, which includes student management systems,payment processing, batch scheduling, assessment platforms, and various internal tools. This roleoffers the opportunity to work across the technology stack, from frontend user interfaces to backendservices.Location: On-site (Full-time)
Key Responsibilities
Frontend DevelopmentDevelop responsive, user-friendly web applications using React and TypeScriptBuild reusable UI components using Material-UI and modern frontend frameworksImplement interactive features and improve user experienceWork with Gatsby for static site generationEnsure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsivenessBackend DevelopmentDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python (Flask/FastAPI)Implement backend services following established patterns and best practicesWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeImplement business logic, data processing, and integration with third-party servicesImprove database queries and application performance
Full-Stack Feature DevelopmentBuild end-to-end features with guidance from senior team membersCollaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to implement featuresImplement new product features and enhancements across the platformWork on integration between frontend and backend systemsAPI Development and IntegrationDevelop RESTful APIs following established patternsIntegrate with external services and third-party APIs with guidanceImplement authentication and authorization mechanismsContribute to API documentation
Database Development and OptimizationWork with existing database schemas and implement new database structures for DynamoDBWrite queries and help improve database performanceImplement data migration scripts and maintain data integrityWork with NoSQL databases as needed
System MaintenanceMaintain and improve existing codebase and servicesDebug and fix bugs across the platformRefactor legacy code to improve maintainability and performanceParticipate in code reviews to ensure code qualityWrite and maintain technical documentation
Required Qualifications
2+ years of professional experience in full-stack software developmentExperience with Python (Flask or FastAPI) for backend developmentExperience with React and TypeScript for frontend developmentExperience with RESTful API developmentFamiliarity with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB or similar)Experience with Git version controlBasic understanding of microservices architecture conceptsGood problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Material-UI or similar component librariesKnowledge of Gatsby or other static site generatorsExperience with message queues (SQS, etc.)Knowledge of WebSocket implementations for real-time featuresExperience working in agile/scrum development environments
