About the role
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Product owners and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and design software solutions to meet the product requirements.
- Develops applications focusing on the presentation layer using Application programming interfaces (APIs) and microservices architecture.
- Develops unit and automation test scripts under the test-driven development lifecycle.
- Contributes to the coding best practices and helps with code merges and releases.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Typically 5+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming in Java and/or Javascript (UI) (Angular or ReactJS) frameworks required.
- Understanding of all phases of Software development life cycle.
- Software Development Experience with JAVA.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks like AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Experience with microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and knowledge of API protocols like REST, gRPC, and graphQL.
- Familiar with coding and testing best practices as well as able to understand complex business problems and design high-quality technical solutions.
- Knowledge about the Caching technologies and DBMS technologies like Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB.
- Strong Problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
